Cancer Stage III And IV

Prostate cancer can spread to the lymph nodes, bones and other parts of the body. It is the most common cause of death from cancer in elderly men over 75 years of age. The treatment of prostate cancer depends on the stage of the cancer and the overall health status of the patient.

Stage III and Stage IV

Stage III prostate cancer is where the cancer has spread outside the prostate and may have disseminated to the seminal vesicles. PSA can be any level and the Gleason score can range from 2 to 10.

Stage IV prostate cancer is where the cancer has spread beyond the prostate to adjacent tissues or organs such as the seminal vesicles, rectum, bladder, lymph nodes, or bones. PSA can be any level and Gleason score may range from 2 to 10.
